Ishibune-bashi Bridge, a 96-meter-long suspension bridge, over the Akigawa River in Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, is a popular spot where you can enjoy one of Tokyo’s stunning scenic gorges.

Nearby, the area known as “Otsu-Hana-no-sato Flower Village,” features beautiful flowers planted     and cultivated by local residents throughout the village, creating a paradise-like scene in spring and stunning autumn foliage with vibrant colors.

This renowned hot spring has won the national title for “Best Skin” three times in various competitions across the country. The spring water, which emerges from 1,500 meters underground, boasts a pH of 10.01 and is characterized by its silky texture. Outside the paid bathing facility, there is a free foot bath where you can easily stop by on your way back from exploring the countryside. Enjoy a lush forest bathing experience while rejuvenating both your mind and body.

From Akigawa Valley Seoto-no-Yu, take the Nishitokyo Bus bound for Musashi-Itsukaichi Station and get off at 'Nishi-Konakano Bus Stop.' From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Kurochaya. Alternatively, it's a 7-8 minute drive (by taxi or other means) from Akigawa Valley Seoto-no-Yu to Kurochaya.

From Kurochaya, take a bus or car (taxi, etc.) to JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station. From there, take the Itsukaichi Line toward Haijima, transfer to the Ome Line at "Haijima Station." From "Haijima Station," take the train towards Ome and Okutama, getting off at "Fussa Station." Approx.30 minutes.

This sake brewery has adhered to the motto “Carefully brewed and carefully sold” throughout its long history.The renowned sake “Kasen” is named after “Yokiizumi (springwater)” that springs from the brewery’s grounds. Part of the building is registered as a tangible cultural property by the national government, set in a landscape that embodies Japan’s original scenery.You can observe the meticulous sake-making process and enjoy tastings.Currently (subject to change in the future), tours and tastings are combined, and reservations must be made for groups of 10 or more.
