From JR Ome Line "Tachikawa Station," head south on the train towards Ome. Transfer at Ome Station to the train heading for Okutama and get off at "Mitake Station." Approx. 60 minutes. From Mitake Station, take a 1-minute walk to the Nishi-Tokyo bus stop "Mitake Station" and get off at "Cable-shita." Walk about 5 minutes to the Mitake-san Cable Car "Taki-moto Station" and take the cable car to "Mitake-san Station." Approx. 30 minutes.

The Tokyo Mitake Visitor Center has guides available to explain the mountain’s nature and traditions.

Take the Mitake Mountain Cable Car from Mitake-san Station to Takimoto Station. From the Nishitokyo Bus Stop 'Cable-shita,' get off at 'Mitake Station.' From JR Ome Line Mitake Station, get off at Sawai Station. It's a 5-minute walk to Ozawa Brewery.Approx. 50 minutes.

The Mitake-keikoku Valley, known for its beautiful flowing water, is recognized as one of Japan’s top 100 famous waters. Here, a sake brewery has been producing sake for over 300 years. The brewery offers tours, and at the “Seiryu Garden Sawanoi-en,” which boasts breathtaking views overlooking the Tama River, you can find local sake, sake buns, unohana buns, wasabi pickles, and various other local souvenirs.
