Akiruno’s Peach Blossom Village, where Satoyama is colored pink

From around late March, the entire satoyama area becomes a pinkish pink paradise as azaleas, someiyoshino cherry trees, weeping cherry trees, and rape blossoms bloom in profusion, creating a beautiful scene that resembles a fairyland.
In the district, there is a Ryuju-in Temple, where spring plants and trees color the precincts, a café, and a place where you can taste oyaki, making it a perfect spot for a spring excursion. There is also a workshop where visitors can try their hand at paper making and a hot spring facility called “Akigawa Canyon Seoto no Yu,” making this an area where you can spend a whole day with your family and friends.
